Fr. Michael writes: Today in union with the whole Church throughout the world we proclaim that Christ is Risen, Alleluia! Yes, He is Risen and it is all for you and me. This is the faith of the Church we have come to proclaim on this Sunday as the Easter Alleluia’s resound throughout our world. During the next fifty days Christ comes searching for each one of us. He wants to connect his risen life with our lives. He wants to touch all those who need to be raised from the death of past mistakes, broken relationships, sins, guilt, hate. With the Risen Christ we can journey from slavery to freedom and from sin to grace. The power which raised Christ from the dead can raise us too. His rising is indeed our rising.
