Fr. Michael writes: Palm Sunday inaugurates Holy Week. On this day the Church celebrates Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem to accomplish the Paschal mystery. Of all the weeks in the year Holy Week is the one most revered by Christians. The Church, in celebrating the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ, sanctifies and renews herself. The ceremonies of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday are, in fact, one drama divided into three parts. May I encourage everyone in our parish to come along to the three days and to participate as fully as possible in the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus.
